“Dr. Dao” (as he is known) is the 38th generation in a family lineage of Chinese Medicine Doctors. Well known and respected in the field of fertility medicine, he is the founder of Yo San University of Chinese Medicine, holds two doctorates in Oriental Medicine, and was awarded the recipient of the

ALBERT VACA, MATCM, LAC.
Albert Vaca, L.Ac., California Board Licensed Acupuncturist, received his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Yo San University. Having a background in martial arts and competitive sports, he was drawn to Sports Medicine and orthopedics. He completed a postgraduate training in acupuncture orthopedics at Cedars Sinai Hospital, and furthered his training by becoming certified as an Acupuncture Orthopedic Specialist from the Academy of Orthopedic Acupuncture.
Albert is a firm believer in integrative healthcare and has worked in women’s health, internal medicine and pediatrics with other medical specialists at the Venice Family Clinic and Being Alive HIV clinic. An educator at heart, he served as Dean of Clinical Education at Yo San University where he enjoyed sharing his clinical knowledge with interns. He is also fluent in Spanish. Albert is dedicated to personal development and practices meditation and tai chi regularly. He hopes to empower patients at The Tao of Wellness with his knowledge, and to help them activate their innate restorative abilities that promote healing and well-being.
SOEON PARK, L.AC.
Soeon (pronounced “so-on”) is a California Board Licensed Acupuncturist who received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) from Yo San University. Her appreciation of her chosen profession is due to her very early exposure to its benefits in her native South Korea. She was born prematurely and had serious health complications. Her parents turned to TCM which resulted in her successful recovery. This initial exposure was the genesis of her path to pursue a profession in acupuncture and TCM so that she can share the life-changing benefits of this ancient medical tradition with others.
After completing intensive clinical training at Yo San Community Clinic, Venice Family Clinic, and Wise and Healthy Aging Center in Los Angeles, Soeon pursued advanced acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine training at the China Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, and completed residencies at Beijing Hospital, Tongrentang Hospital, and Dongzhimen Hospital in Beijing, China.
Soeon brings to the Tao of Wellness a passion for promoting quality of life, healthy aging, and vibrant living. Always one to round out her skills and improve herself, she is certified in TCM Nutrition, Self-Healing Qi Gong, and TCM Dermatology. She has also honed her clinical skills to include pain management, digestive issues, insomnia, as well as reproductive and mental health. Her ultimate goal is to provide the best treatments possible together with encouraging a balanced and happy lifestyle.
